This little gallery contains photos taken by night. Any city I have come across, has got at least two souls - one living only by day, in full light, and the other nocturnal. Tokyo too, no doubt, and certainly very clearly its Shinjuku district, being particularly lively at night. These pictures, though, deal not with the citizens of Shinjuku, but the buildings again - as a sort of backside to the gallery with photos of buildings by day. The buildings, too, seem to give quite different impressions at night, although just as majestic. When they reach for the pitch black sky, they do it with as much delight as when penetrating the clear blue daytime sky - but with another sentiment, other implications. To create some small similarity to a stroll through the city, I have arranged the photos in a pattern, where you can start where you like and walk in any direction you please between the sights. Just click on any one of the thumbs above, to begin. Enjoy. Stefan Stenudd
