Art Videos

Lately, I have worked a little with the video camera and Pinnacle Studio software. Tiny experiments, mostly for the fun of it. I have put them on Youtube, but you can access them by clicking the video frames below. Here's my Youtube account, if you prefer going there: Aravadia.

Live Drawing
Video filmed drawing
I draw a portrait with some complications. It's hard to decide when to stop. I did speed the film up a bit, not to burden the patience of the viewers too much.

Grail
Video recital
Give me a drink that saves my soul...

Murder
Video recital
Occasionally I contemplate murder... The beginning of a book of mine.
More about the book here: Murder

What god are we talking about?
Video recital
My thoughts on the basic questions of theists and atheists:
If a god exists, and if so - what kind of god?

I like to watch
Video recital
I like to watch. Don't you? This is a video poem about the pleasure of watching. I call it a syllable poem, because it's made up of one-syllable words.

When dogs die
Video recital
Do dogs have ghosts? A video filmed poem about souls. I call it a syllable poem, because it consists of only one-syllable words. The dog's name is Max. It is still very much alive :)

Life, that is.
Video recital
What's the meaning of life? And how to find it? A video filmed poem. I call it a syllable poem, because it consists entirely of one-syllable words.

Love in the snow
Video recital
Love and death and snow. A video poem about how they relate. I call it a syllable poem, because it's written entirely with one-syllable words.

I C U
Video recital
Who is watching, and who is being watched? Here's a video filmed poem of mine. I call it a letter poem, since it is made up entirely of single letters.

In your face
Self-discovery by video as mirror.
We know that we are, and that's about all we know, if Descartes is to be trusted. But we have no idea what that really is. We must watch and learn. The voyeur should turn toward the mirror. For that, the video camera works fine.
So, here I am, watching myself, wondering. The answers to all my questions will come - any day.

Loo Music
Another water dance, and the strange music that can be found in it. A flashy flush.

ICE hand jobs
ICE hand jobs. The hand moves in mysterious ways.
The hand fascinates me - whether it's my own or somebody else's. It moves with such refinement that it seems to have a life all of its own. Personality, too. It is so expressive, with its own complex language and yet understandable to all. It speaks, whispers, shouts. And it is very sensual, even before contact. Erotic just by being and moving, ecstatic at the moment of touch. It is at the essence of being alive.
So, I made a series of short video clips, closeup studies of the hand in action - by itself, with an object or another hand. I intend to go on, as long as my fascination does.

Offer
I don't get tired of hands and how they do what they do. What can I say? If you're biased about what kind of hand job you're attracted by, don't bother watching this video.

Skyscraper appearing and disappearing
Turning Torso, the Malmo skyscraper, hiding and returning. No trick of mine. I'm sorry that you have to tilt your head.

Beautiful - with a banana
Christina Aguilera's song Beautiful, in a humming version with a banana. You may have trouble recognizing the song. Not for the easily bored.
