  TORITORI UKEUKE
  TSUKI — start.
Starting position. Tori at left, uke at right.
1 Starting with bokken in belt, facing uke. Starting in chudan kamae, sword drawn and held at middle guard, facing tori.
2 TSUKI — step left. Step forward with left foot.
3 Step forward to the left with left foot, firmly grabbing the scabbard and tsuba with left hand, and putting right hand palm on the hilt. Chudan tsuki, thrust to middle level, in the direction of tori's original position.
4 Harai with tsuka, the hilt, in a semi-circular move from left to right, pushing uke's sword a bit to uke's left. TSUKI — harai.
5 Draw sword immediately after the harai, extending right arm to the right, sword held so that the edge points to the right. Step back with right foot, and draw sword to jodan kamae.
6 TSUKI — sword to side. Step forward with right foot.
7 Chudan tsuki, thrust to middle level, but place it by the right side of uke's waist. Men, cut to the head.

TSUKI — chudan tsuki.

8 Push uke back, by extending the tsuki thrust additionally, then draw the sword back to horizontal position near the body. Fall back one full step with right foot, when pushed by tori.

TSUKI — push.

9 TSUKI — draw back. Yield sword to migi no waki, right side guard.
Retreat two steps.
10 Step back with left foot, while turning the sword so that the edge points to the floor, ending the step in a chudan kamae position. TSUKI — step back.
11 Chiburi kaiten, "shake off blood" by spinning the sword around. TSUKI — chiburi.
TSUKI — chiburi.
12 Put blade on left shoulder. Noto, sword back into scabbard.
Step back to the starting position.

For safety, the noto is changed to sideways instead of at the shoulder. See the video above for details.

TSUKI — noto, blade on shoulder.
TSUKI — noto, reverse grip.
TSUKI — noto, sword into scabbard.
