Starting with jo by left side, facing uke.
Starting in migi no waki, side guard with sword drawn and held at right side.

Big step forward, lifting sword to jodan kamae, over the head.

Step forward to the left with left foot, jo to chudan kamae, middle guard. Follow with right foot.
CHUDAN - chudan kamae.

Chudan giri, cut to middle level, in the direction of tori's original position.

Twist body, kote chudan, strike at uke's wrist from above.
CHUDAN - chudan uchi to kote.
CHUDAN - kote chudan.

Release uke by lifting the front end of the jo, followed by the right foot stepping to the right.
CHUDAN - open.

CHUDAN - turn.
Draw sword to jodan kamae, backing half a step, and cut in the direction of tori's previous position.

Yokomen uchi, strike to the left side of uke's head.
CHUDAN - yokomen uchi.

CHUDAN - uke retreats.
Yield sword to migi no waki, right side guard.
Retreat three steps.

Pull jo back to chudan kamae, middle guard.
Step back to the starting position.
