Starting position. Tori at left, uke at right.
Starting with bokken in belt, back turned to uke.
chudan kamae, sword drawn and held at middle guard, behind tori.
Step forward with left foot, lift sword to
jodan kamae, over the head.
Step forward with left foot, then right foot forward to the right.
Step forward with right foot.
Chudan giri, cut to middle level, in the direction of tori's original position.
Turn around on the spot, then the
nuki tsuke draw.
Short step back, draw sword to
jodan kamae. Step forward with the right foot.
Step forward to the right with the right foot, cut one handed
do, side cut on waist level.
Chudan giri, cut to middle level, in the direction of tori's former position.
Lift sword to
jodan kamae, over the head, and turn toward uke. Men, straight cut to the head.
Yield sword to
migi no waki, right side guard. Retreat three steps.
Lower sword to
chudan kamae, middle guard.
Chiburi chudan, "shake off blood" to the right on middle level.
Noto, sword back into scabbard. Step back to the starting position.
