Starting with jo by left side, facing uke.
Starting in migi no waki, side guard with sword drawn and held at right side.

JODAN - chudan kamae.
Big step forward, lifting sword to jodan kamae, over the head.

Step forward with left foot, jo to chudan kame. Immediately next step with right foot forward to the right, swing jo up to uke's neck and chin.
Start cutting move, but stop when tori's jo reaches chin.
 
JODAN - block.

Slide down to forward end of jo with left hand grip, reverse right hand grip.
JODAN - slide.
 
JODAN - slide.
JODAN - yokomen uchi.

Turn body slightly counter-clockwise and let left foot follow. Yokomen uchi, strike to the left side of uke's head.
Continue the cutting move, once tori's jo moves away from chin.

JODAN - uke retreats.
Yield sword to migi no waki, right side guard.
Retreat three steps.
7
Pull jo back to chudan kamae, middle guard.
Step back to the starting position.
